Nightmare Vermont
Nightmare Vermont is a unique Halloween event in the U.S., combining live stage combat, an original theatrical storyline, and all the best in interactive scares and special effects. The event has run in underground spaces and as part of other community events since 2004. Thousands of people enjoy the show every year and we’re looking forward to scaring your socks of in this year.
Nightmare Vermont returns to our beloved theatrical format for this season. We’ll take you into the bowels of a notorious women’s prison, where evil forces brew and atrocities fester. Go into lockdown with Vermont’s premiere haunted event. We’ll be starting a riot and summoning some demons as well as dishing out a little satisfying vengeance.
Bring the whole family (leave the little kids at home) for thrills, chills, and a howling night of fun in the echoing bowels of the Grandstand at the Champlain Valley Exposition. Wondering what it will be like?

BE Prepared to SCREAM!!!!!! After attending Nightmare Vermont, I have to tell you that you have to go!! If you want to be scared in a delightfully spooky and creepy way, and you want to help a charity organization raise money for a great cause, this is a fall must! Fantastic actors have volunteered their time and efforts to put this together. You will be thrilled and chilled by noteworthy entertaining actors in some very spooky and creepy costumes. Set designs are awesome! Go get spooked at Nightmare Vermont!!! You will be glad you did!

We went tonight. The acting was fantastic! The story line and skits were great. We had tons of fun!. I do agree with others that it's not as scary as you think it will be going in, but it had its moments and a great time was had by all! I'd go again next year! A Fun night out! . ?

I attended in Oct 2015 because is was supposed to be scary. It consisted of moving from room to room for skits. By the end I was looking forward to it ending.
